Clark Taylor is Vice President and Controller of TECO Coal Corp., a subsidiary of TECO Energy. He is responsible for all financial functions for TECO Coal operations, including Gatliff Coal Co., Clintwood Elkhorn Mining Co., Premier Elkhorn Coal Co., Pike Letcher Land Co. and Perry County Coal Corp.
Taylor began with Gatliff Coal as Controller and Assistant Secretary in April 1985. In April 1986, he was promoted to Controller and Assistant Treasurer. In April, 1988, he was promoted to Vice President and Controller of Gatliff Coal. In December 1992, he was promoted to his present position at TECO Coal.
Prior to joining TECO Energy, Clark was Area Operations Manager and Financial Analyst for Dun & Bradstreet, where he was in charge of the Tulsa, Okla., office. He also had been an accountant in a public accounting firm in Corbin, Ky. Before that, he served as General Accounting Manager for Shamrock Coal Co., Inc.
Taylor received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Union College in 1971. He is licensed in Kentucky as a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of both the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a member of the tax division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
