Mr. Mahaffey began his career with Exxon Chemical in engineering and technical assignments and later moved into sales and marketing and also has significant Corporate Development/board room experience with a major chemical manufacturing company. He conducted merger and acquisition services for The Sterling Group and led an LBO program targeting a segment of the specialty chemical industry for a Boston based financial service firm. He has worked with an SEC reporting Registered Investment Advisor. As an independent equity analyst he has been quoted in Bloomberg and numerous print and online publications. Mr. Mahaffey has a BS in Chemical Engineering from LSU and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. |
