Clifford M. Lewis brings to Currenex more than 25 years experience in the international financial markets as well as a unique network of long-standing business relationships in over 30 countries. Prior to joining Currenex, Mr Lewis was the Chief Operating Officer of BRIDGE eMarkets, a unit of Bridge Information Systems responsible for wholesale financial market transactions. Before that, he was an executive with CBOT and a Management Board Member for CBOT-EUREX Joint Venture, Inc., an alliance between two of the world's largest derivatives exchanges. From 1978 to 1991, Mr. Lewis was an executive with the World Bank Group, where he had various high-level strategic planning and operational assignments. His experience also includes managing strategy, restructuring and technology engagements at leading banks, exchanges and clearing houses as a partner in the International Financial Services [Group] at KPMG Peat Marwick. Articles by Mr. Lewis on a range of policy and technical subjects have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, Atlantic Monthly, National Interest and other publications. Mr. Lewis is an active member of various advisory groups on international economics and finance at the Heritage Foundation Cato Institute and American Enterprise Institute and is a Fellow of Harvard University's Center for International Affairs. |
