Clifford R. Waldman, MD Senior Medical Director Clifford R. Waldman, MD, joined CDPHP as senior medical director in July 2005. He brings more than 20 years experience in health care to this position including 10 years of clinical practice, teaching and program administration in family medicine and sports medicine, and 11 years in health plan administration. Prior to joining CDPHP, Dr. Waldman served as chief medical officer for Humility of Mary Health Partners, Youngstown, Ohio. He has also served as medical director for a number of insurance and managed care companies including Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Youngstown, Ohio; and HealthAmerica of Pennsylvania, Keystone Health Plan West, and Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in Pittsburgh. Dr. Waldman earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington, and completed his residency at Toledo Hospital in Ohio. He received a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Harvard University. He is board certified in family practice. An accomplished author, Dr. Waldman is a diplomate for the American Board of Family Practice, and also for the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. |
