Colin joined Jones and Kolb in 1986 after several years with a regional accounting firm. Prior to that, Colin was a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. He concentrates in the areas of individual and corporate taxation, not-for-profit organizations and tax advocacy and disputes with the IRS.
Colin received a B.B.A. degree from Georgia State University. He also holds the Certified Financial Planner designation from the College of Financial Planning. Colin is also a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and currently serves on its Board of Directors. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs, having received its designation of Accredited Personal Financial Specialist. Colin is also a frequent public speaker on tax topics to not-for-profit and other organizations. He also serves as the coordinator of the Design Information Group (DIG), a monthly roundtable discussion group. Colin has received numerous professional awards and acclamations including the "Distinguished Service Award" from the Georgia Society of CPAs.
Colin is active in numerous professional and civic organizations and enjoys public speaking, playing golf and has acted as a network spotter for several PGA events. |
