Colin started his career at Time Buying Services in 1979, joining Chris Ingram Associates (CIA) as a Senior Non-Broadcast Planner/Buyer five years later. From there he joined the Board of CIA Billett as Head of Planning and Director of Non-Broadcast Media. In 1990, he left CIA Group plc. to set up Manning Gottlieb Media (MGM). By 1997, when it became a part of Omnicom, MGM had established itself as one of London's leading creative ideas-led media operations, handling such icon brands as Nike, Virgin, PlayStation, Apple and Sony Music. In 2000, Colin was invited to become CEO of OMD in Europe and in 2005 was appointed CEO of Omnicom Media Group with responsibility for over 35 markets and 3,000 people. |
