Colin Slade joined Tektronix in 1987. In his current role as Chief Financial Officer, Slade is responsible for all corporate financial activities, information technology, and administrative services.
Prior to his appointment as CFO, Slade was Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller, respectively. In these positions, he initiated a project to restructure and improve the company's investors' relations program; led a successful program to implement Economic Value Added, which significantly improved the company's cash flow; and established a vision and strategy for the Finance organization that has enabled it to become a stronger and more responsive function. Slade also previously held the position of Controller of Tektronix' Color Printing & Imaging Division.
Slade came to Tektronix from Graphic Software Systems, Inc., where he was Corporate Controller and then CFO. His career also includes international service at Price Waterhouse, as a manager in the London office before returning to Portland as an Audit Manager.
Slade is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and quantitative methods from the University of Oregon. |
