Corbin McNeill is chairman of the PGE board. In 2002, he retired as chairman and CEO of Exelon Corp., which was formed in October 2000 by the merger of PECO Energy Company and Unicom Corp. Prior to the merger, he was chairman, president and CEO of PECO Energy.
McNeill completed a 20-year career with the U.S. Navy in 1981 and then joined the New York Power Authority as resident manager of the James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant. He also worked at Public Service Electric and Gas Company prior to joining PECO in 1988 as executive vice president of the company's nuclear department. He serves on the boards of Ontario Power Generation, Associated Electric & Gas Services Limited, Owens-Illinois Corp., Silver Spring Networks and the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association.
McNeill received his bachelor's degree in 1962 from the U.S. Naval Academy and has completed graduate courses in business at the University of California (Berkeley) and Syracuse University. He is a 1992 graduate of Stanford University's Executive Management Program. He lives in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
