Cornelius Merlini is responsible for overseeing field sales, clinical affairs and both consumer and professional marketing for CBR. He also leads the company's healthcare compliance initiative, Principles in Action�, and serves as the primary liaison with the industry's trade group, the Association of Family Cord Blood Banks. Mr. Merlini joined CBR from Johnson & Johnson, where he was the worldwide vice president for the company's cardiovascular franchise. During his tenure with J&J, Mr. Merlini also held several other leadership positions, including executive director of the company's McNeil Nutritionals business, where he led consumer and professional marketing efforts for several brands, and led the Rx-to-OTC switch effort of J&J/Merck's Mevacor. Mr. Merlini also spent 10 years at Hoechst Marion Roussel, first as a sales representative for Marion Laboratories, then in sales management and product marketing. Mr. Merlini holds a bachelor's degree from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. |
