After serving on the Democratic staff for the House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee Courtney Johnson now joins the Alpine Group Inc. as an Associate. Ms. Johnson worked in various capacities for the Committee including as a Press and Research Assistant as well as a Staff Assistant. While familiar with the myriad issues under the wide-ranging jurisdiction of the committee Ms. Johnson is especially well versed in energy environmental health care and telecommunications issues.
Prior to her tenure with the House Energy and Commerce Committee Ms. Johnson served as a Staff Assistant for Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT). She focused on a wide variety of issues and constituent relations. Ms. Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Legislative Affairs at the George Washington University. |
