Craig E. Pinkus
Profile : Craig Pinkus is a partner and Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property Group. He also is a member of the Litigation and Communications and Entertainment Groups. He assists clients with disputes and litigation involving patents and other intellectual property, entertainment, and other complex business arrangements. He also handles transactions involving these areas. Mr. Pinkus helps public and private companies involved in various technologies, entertainment, and manufacturing. He has conducted trials and arbitrations in numerous jurisdictions and has argued appeals before the United States Supreme Court, the Seventh, Sixth and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, and before the Indiana appellate courts. He is a recipient of the American Bar Association Silver Gavel Award which recognizes those working with communications media that have been exemplary in helping to foster the American public's understanding of the law and the legal system. Mr. Pinkus is a contributor to The Indiana Lawyer, authoring a column called "Sites for Sore Eyes" concerning the Internet and the legal profession. He has lectured extensively on a wide range of topics, including technology, entertainment, the Internet, and the use of computers and electronic documents in litigation.

Mr. Pinkus lectures and writes extensively on a wide range of topics. He presented the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum's "Indiana Law Update 2004 on Intellectual Property & Technology", "Evidence in the Digital Age" at the National Association of Women Judges 26th Annual Conference in 2004, and previously various seminars before the Indianapolis Bar Association, American Bar Association National Institutes, the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors, and law schools.
