A graduate of Princeton University (NJ), Dr. Eichner received his medical degree from UMDNJ-NJ Medical School (Newark, NJ) in 1980. He became board certified in internal medicine in 1984.
Dr. Eichner served as attending physician, Chief of the Division of Internal Medicine, and Chairman of the Department of Medicine Quality Improvement Committee at Mountainside Hospital (Montclair, NJ). He was also the attending physician at Montclair Community Hospital (NJ) and maintained a private practice from 1983-1992. In addition, he was the school physician for the Montclair (NJ) Board of Education and Employee Health Physician for Schering-Plough, Inc. from 1986 to 1993.
Dr. Eichner joined Kessler in 1993 as a Staff Internist and now heads the Internal Medicine department. He also serves as the Chairperson of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. |
