Tracy is a corporate and transactional lawyer, representing public and privately-held companies in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. Tracy also advises clients on other critical issues that affect their business, such as copyright, trademark and software licensing, domestic and international procurement, trade controls and information technology. She counsels commercial and consumer goods manufacturers regarding all aspects of product sales including antitrust risks, and sales representative and distributor relationships. In addition, Tracy has experience in transportation law, namely for-hire carrier matters. She counsels clients on aircraft ownership matters as well. Tracy has represented clients on FAA regulatory issues, aircraft acquisition and leasing, aircraft fractional ownership programs, aircraft ownership structuring and management, aircraft insurance, aviation-related tax and financial matters, and jet card programs. A member of the American and Ohio State Bar Associations, Tracy also serves on the board of trustees of the YWCA of Greater Cleveland and on the visiting committee for Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Tracy was an associate with Calfee from 1997-1999, prior to accepting the position of commercial counsel for the lighting business of General Electric Company. While at GE she served as counsel to the Procurement, Distribution, Information Technology, Trade Controls and Fixtures departments and later assumed broader roles as counsel to the Information Technology, Procurement, Distribution and Trade Controls departments for the combined lighting and appliances business as well as maintaining her responsibilities to the fixtures business. In 2003, Tracy joined The Scott Fetzer Company as corporate counsel. She rejoined Calfee in 2004 and became a partner in 2008. |
