Active in community affairs, law and city government, Mr. Morris joined the Board of Directors in 1988. A graduate of Stanford University, Mr. Morris holds a bachelor�s degree in history and a juris doctorate degree from Loyola University Law School (Los Angeles). He served as an officer in the United States Navy.
Mr. Morris has practiced law locally since 1969, today as a partner of Lamb, Morris & Lobello, LLP. He has been a member of the San Dimas City Council since 1980 and Mayor since 1996. Mr. Morris is Vice President of the California Joint Powers Insurance Authority and Chairman of the Los Angeles County-Contract Cities Liability Trust Fund Oversight Committee and Claims Board.
A long time resident of the Inland Empire, his community efforts also extend to local organizations and causes, including periods of service on the board of directors of a number of non profit organizations, including Azusa Pacific University, Pomona Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, Inter Valley Health Plan, and Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. Mr. Morris is a member of the California Healthcare Association Governance Forum. |
