D. Patrick Linehan (Pat) is the senior vice president and general manager of EMEA. He is responsible for managing sales and business operations for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Under his leadership, the company continues to build on its "Follow the Sun" strategy to provide customers with 24x7, world-class technical service and support. Linehan also has served as senior vice president of Global Customer Satisfaction at Network Appliance. During his tenure, he supported Global Support Centers, Professional and Educational Services, E-service Support, Marketing Services, and RAS Support Worldwide. Linehan's demonstrated leadership spans international, high-technology companies in software and hardware development, networking, and telecommunications. He brings extensive senior management and leadership experience from a broad range of companies. Prior to joining Network Appliance, Linehan was senior vice president for NetManage, Inc., and CEO of NetSoft, Inc., acquired by NetManage. In addition, he held CEO positions at Miralink, Corp., StarBase Corp., and Castelle, Inc., and was senior vice president of Xerox's Desktop Software Division. Linehan also spent over 13 years at IBM Corp., where he held various sales, marketing, and international management positions. Linehan holds a BA in business administration from the University of Washington. |
