Dan Mazziota founded Microwave Power Devices, Inc. (MPD) in 1967 which he sold in 1981 to M/A-COM, a leading telecommunications and defense electronics company. That same year, he received the IEEE Region 1 Award for "managing the growth of an innovative high technology company."

He served as CEO of M/A-COM MPD, Inc. until 1987 when he joined RSA Executive Search as chairman. In addition, he is president of IDM Consulting which provides consulting services to the high tech M&A field, specializing in the microwave component and sub system industry.

Dan received his BEE and MSEE degrees from New York Polytechnic Institute and is a fellow of the Institute. Dan is a member of the Chief Executives Organization (CEO) and a senior member of the IEEE. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Metro Chapter of the World President Organization (a YPO Alumni Organization) where he served as Chairman for two years. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Corporate Renaissance Group Inc., a NASDAQ listed business development company.
