Dan McCarty

We at MSS have excellent relationships with all of the ophthalmic supply manufacturers and are able to utilize strong purchasing power to efficiently and economically provide our service. Dan began his career with MSS in 1998 as a Surgical Technician and has since been promoted to Director of Operations-South Zone in 2004 and most recently to the National Director of Operations for MSS-Surgical Services. Dan currently manages seven Regional Operations Managers, who in turn oversee 60 Surgical Technicians. He and his internal staff at headquarters are responsible for all day-to-day operations of the company including the distribution of surgical supplies and inventory management. Dan also works with various suppliers and vendors to ensure MSS has access to the most current and up-to-date technologies. Prior to joining the MSS team, Dan was a Surgical Technician at Methodist Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He holds a B.A. in Business/Management from Augsburg College and is a Certified Surgical Technician. Dan has 3 children, is an avid runner and has already completed three marathons.
