Dan McGurI is the Chairman of the board, founder and retired CEO of Bottomline Technologies, Inc. Mr. McGurl is a 25-year veteran of the computer industry. He left his position as senior vice president at Boston-based State Street Bank to found Bottomline Technologies in 1989. Prior to his tenure with State Street Bank, Mr. McGurl held a variety of executive posts at IBM, including Director of Marketing Planning and Director of Far East Operations. Under his leadership, Bottomline Technologies has developed and maintained its reputation as an industry leader in payment automation software for corporations and financial institutions. Mr. McGurl received his Bachelors of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy.
