Dan Sayre is president of the Company's Japan Business Unit. Mr. Sayre works in close partnership with the chairman of Coca-Cola (Japan) Company, Ltd. (CCJC) on business strategy and key initiatives.
Mr. Sayre joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1983 as Sprite� brand manager for Coca-Cola USA. He subsequently served as brand manager for Diet Coke�, executive assistant to the Company's chief marketing officer, and then group brand manager for the Coca-Cola trademark. Mr. Sayre held a number of marketing positions throughout Latin America, including senior assignments in Argentina and Mexico, and served as region manager for the North Andean Business Unit based in Lima, Peru. In December 2003, he was appointed president of the Latin Center Division, encompassing Central America, the Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador, the Guyanas, Suriname, and Venezuela.
A native of Washington, D.C., Mr. Sayre is a graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. |
