Dan Toussant, SPHR, an associate since 1999, leads Rea & Associates� Human Resource department. He has more than 25 years of human resource experience in the healthcare, manufacturing, utility and small college industries. He holds a master's degree from Kent State University and a bachelor's degree from Boston College. A former president of the Ohio Hospital Human Resource Association, he has served on a number of volunteer boards. A graduate of Leadership Stark County, he is a recipient of the Multiple Sclerosis Leadership Award. His most recent passion is a program called Angel Tree sponsored by Prison Ministries that provides services to children with an incarcerated parent. He is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and an adjunct member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a certified Senior Human Resource Professional (SPHR) and also earned the status of Diplomate with the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a member of the Greater Canton Chamber of Commerce and the Tuscora SHRM chapter. Mr. Toussant and his wife, Colleen, live in Canton, Ohio, and have three daughters, Molly, Emily and Ashley. He has an eclectic interest in music ranging from jazz to folk to easy listening. He loves to read, and still believes there is hope for Cleveland professional sports teams. |
