Dana Nowell joined the company in December 1990 as a Senior Software Engineer. He was promoted to Senior Software Architect and is now Chief Technology Officer. Nowell has spent over 20 years studying and working with computers after studying abstract mathematics at the University of Chicago in the 70's. Nowell has been involved with distributed processing since an early 80�s stint in gasoline station automation and some late 80�s satellite communications work. In the mid 80�s Nowell was introduced to distributed processing using Tandem Nonstop Computers (now HP Nonstop Systems). His expertise in that area ultimately led him to Cornerstone Software. His work at Cornerstone continued the distributed processing trend with work on Remote Server Call, funds transfer processing systems, and various consulting activities. |
