Mr. Lev received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. During law school, Mr. Lev received the American Jurisprudence Award in Bankruptcy, the Benno M. Brink Memorial Award in Bankruptcy, and the American Jurisprudence Award in Remedies. Mr. Lev served as law clerk to the Honorable Geraldine Mund, United States Bankruptcy Judge, from 1986 to 1988. Since the completion of his judicial clerkship, Mr. Lev has devoted his practice to bankruptcy, commercial and appellate law, and business litigation. Mr. Lev has represented corporate debtors, creditor committees, panel trustees, financial institutions, insurance companies, real estate developers and landlords in a wide variety of insolvency and business matters. Mr. Lev is a member of the California Bar, the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the District of Arizona, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Lev also is a member of the Financial Lawyers' Conference and the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum. |
