Daniel A. Picard is the founder and President of Picard International, Ltd. Mr. Picard received B.S. and M.S. degrees from Cornell University and a C.E. degree in economics and engineering systems analysis from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition, he holds an M.S. international business degree from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management.
Mr. Picard began his career as a research engineer for M.I.T. before joining McKinsey & Company. He served as a Senior Engagement Manager on a broad range of engagements within manufacturing, telecommunications, finance, operations, and marketing in the New York, Amsterdam, Paris, and London offices of McKinsey & Company.
Mr. Picard was recruited to International Paper as Manager of Systems and MRO Purchases and subsequently became General Manager of International Operations for International Paper�s Liquid Packaging Division
Mr. Picard served as Managing Director and President of International Operations for Lamalie Associates and was President of Ingram, Inc., before founding Picard International, Ltd.
Mr. Picard sits on the Board of Advisors of ORI, a company that develops specialty surgical hospitals in the US and abroad. He formerly served on the board of the National Center for Health Education, where he was Chairman of the Finance Committee. |
