Daniel A. Rabinowitz joined Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in 2002 as a special counsel in the firm's Insurance Group. From 1994 to 2002, Mr. Rabinowitz practiced with an international law firm based in New York. Mr. Rabinowitz specializes in transactional and regulatory work for insurance and other financial services companies. His experience includes demutualizations, mutual holding company formations and other reorganizations in the insurance industry, as well as related industry-specific securities offerings such as closed block securitizations. Mr. Rabinowitz has worked extensively on public and private offerings of securities by insurers and insurance holding companies, representing issuers, underwriters, selling stockholders and other participants. His experience also includes numerous mergers, acquisitions and other change of control transactions and regulatory advice on a variety of matters to insurance and other financial services companies in transactional contexts.
