Daniel Kloke is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Carr & Ferrell. Mr. Kloke specializes in intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent prosecution, strategic patent counseling, patent litigation, as well as drafting and negotiating intellectual property licensing agreements. In addition to his patent practice, Mr. Kloke has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation matters. Mr. Kloke has a wide range of experience in several areas of cutting edge technology, including semiconductors, wireless networks, antennas, software, power systems, digital circuitry, and internet technology. Prior to joining Carr & Ferrell, Mr. Kloke enjoyed a career as a computer and network systems engineer and as Network Administrator in the Computer Services Department at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law, where he worked to design and implement computer and network systems. Additionally, while receiving his electrical engineering degree, Mr. Kloke worked closely with the Boeing Company and others from a variety of other engineering fields to design a rocket payload system capable of controlled flight, GPS telemetry and wireless video reconnaissance. Over his career, Mr. Kloke has worked closely with clients to create market power and promote valuation through implementation of sound legal strategies to leverage intellectual property assets and investments. In addition to intellectual property portfolio development, Daniel has assisted businesses and counsel to analyze patents and other intellectual property to prepare for and support offensive as well as defensive litigation. |
