Dan Porter oversees CACI's managed network services line of business and a clientele that includes the Defense Information Systems Agency and all the armed services the Federal Aviation Administration the Department of Homeland Security Department of Commerce and Department of State.
Since joining CACI in 2004 as part of our American Management Systems acquisition Dan has demonstrated exemplary leadership as Executive VP of one of ETS's largest operations the Maritime Program Support Operating Group. Under his guidance CACI grew our business delivering a broad range of high quality support services to the U.S. Navy Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard. His accomplishments included expanding our important business with the Military Sealift Command and the headquarters of the Department of the Navy. As Operating Group Manager Dan exceeded all key performance measures and led his team to achieve strong financial performance and significant account growth.
Before entering the federal IT contracting industry Dan enjoyed an outstanding career as a U.S. government civil servant culminating in his appointment as CIO to the U.S. Navy. In this position Dan's strategic thought leadership was instrumental in developing Navy IT strategy and policies. Dan also was the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the Secretary of Defense Medal for Meritorious Civilian Service and the Department of the Navy Distinguished Civilian Service Award and he was conferred the Senior Executive Service rank of Distinguished Executive by the President. |
