Daniel Shanley is an associate of the firm and specializes in mechanical patent matters. Mr. Shanley's practice includes preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, conducting studies of patent validity and infringement, assisting clients in infringement avoidance and design-around efforts, and assisting with intellectual property litigation.
Following his education at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Mr. Shanley worked as a mechanical engineer for the Department of the Navy. Prior to and during law school, he also worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in the mechanical technologies. |
