Dan is a senior financial executive with significant operating, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions experience across a broad variety of industries. He has worked with many of the most prominent legal, financial and advisory firms in the U.S.
His 25 years of business experience includes operational turnarounds, facility consolidations, and workouts in which he represented the private equity fund or investment banking firm involved.
Professional Experience
Dan began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. and was later chief financial officer (CFO) of an investment banking firm and president of its NASD registered broker-dealer.
As a principal in a private equity fund and chief financial officer of an investment banking firm, Dan was involved in the investment and management of more than $200M in controlling equity investments, and numerous bank financings and public debt and equity offerings.
Dan was CFO of a dietary supplements company where he developed a strategy that led to a recapitalization and consolidation with three similar companies and was appointed CFO of the resulting entity. He was also CFO of an Internet services company whose founders included Intel executives.
Dan has served as an advisor or interim executive for out-of-court restructurings, bankruptcies, and sales transactions. He has also served as a director and/or chief financial officer of several healthy companies where he gained substantial operating experience and created significant value for stakeholders.
