Dr. Daniel Clauw is Professor of Medicine and Director of the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center at the University of Michigan. He also directs the Center for the Advancement of Clinical Research, an organization that provides support and infrastructure for all clinical research at the University of Michigan. His expertise includes fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and gulf war syndrome. In addition to his work at the University of Michigan, Dr. Clauw serves as Consultant to the Department of Veterans' Affairs Studies: "National Survey of Persian Gulf Veterans and their Families" and "Treatment of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in Persian Gulf Veterans". His recent research has focused on fibromyalgia and related illnesses, both on the mechanisms involved and the most effective treatments. |
