Daniel L. Rubinfeld is a Senior Consultant at Competition Policy Associates and the Robert L. Bridges Professor of Law and Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. In December 1998, he completed an 18-month term as Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. His current research interests relate directly to issues of antitrust enforcement, competition policy, law and economics, and the political economy of federalism. Dr. Rubinfeld has published or edited six books and over 100 articles. Dr. Rubinfeld is the author of two textbooks, Microeconomics and Econometric Models and Economic Forecasts (both with Robert Pindyck). He previously served as Associate Dean of the School of Law (as Chair of the University of California Berkeley Program in Jurisprudence and Social Policy) and as Chair of the Program in Law and Economics. Dr. Rubinfeld is a past President of the American Law and Economics Association. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Bureau of Economic Research. |
