Mr. Hesse is President and Chief Executive Officer of Sprint Nextel Corporation, a provider of wireless and wireline communications services, and a member of its Board of Directors. Prior to his current position, he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Embarq Corporation, formerly the Local Telecommunications Division of Sprint Nextel Corporation from 2004 until December 2007. He previously served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Terabeam Corporation, a telecommunications company, from 2000 until 2004. He also serves as a director of Nokia Corporation, a mobile communications company. He is a member of the Finance and Compensation Committees of the Board of Directors. |
