Mr. Quarles is an associate in the Firm�s Real Estate Group practicing out of the Williamsburg office. He has practiced law for eleven years and has an extensive background in litigation. As a state prosecutor in Virginia, Mr. Quarles prosecuted thousands of felony and misdemeanor criminal and traffic offenses in state court. Upon entering private practice, Mr. Quarles put his trial skills to use in civil and commercial litigation matters. He represents clients, both businesses and individuals, in civil matters ranging from breach of contract and collections to mechanic�s lien suits and injunctions. In addition to hundreds of civil and criminal bench trials, Mr. Quarles has litigated approximately twenty jury trials through to conclusion by jury verdict. Mr. Quarles has tried cases in both state and federal court. Mr. Quarles� experience with the adversarial process provides him insight into pre-trial, and pre-litigation, dispute and conflict resolution. He understands that clients desire cost-effective resolution to their problems and need practical guidance with real world dilemmas. He strives to deliver value-added services to every client. Mr. Quarles has represented auto dealerships, auto repair shops, banks, building contractors, developers, doctor�s offices, homeowner�s associations, mortgage companies, restaurateurs, service providers, small businesses, timeshare developments, title insurance companies and, of course, numerous individuals in disputes both large and small. Mr. Quarles is a life-long resident of Hampton Roads and is active in the Williamsburg community. He serves as vice-chairman of the Williamsburg Architectural Review Board, and also serves as secretary of the Williamsburg Bar Association.
