Daniel R. Pearson is group president of Defense Communications and Electronics, and is responsible for the RF Communications Division (RFCD), the Department of Defense (DoD) Programs business unit within the Government Communications Systems Division (GCSD), and the International Systems business which combines the strengths of RFCD and the DoD business. He reports to the executive vice president and chief operating officer. GCSD develops and produces advanced communications and information systems for the Department of Defense and other government agencies and their prime contractors. RFCD is a leading worldwide supplier of tactical radio products and systems.
Mr. Pearson was most recently president of GCSD's Department of Defense Programs business unit. Prior to being named president of Network Support Division in 2000, he served as vice president and general manager of Strategic Management and Business Development for GCSD.
Mr. Pearson joined Harris in 1977 and has held a number of engineering and program management positions during his career.
Mr. Pearson has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
He is a member of the Air Force Association, the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the National Defense Industrial Association, the Security Affairs Support Association, and the Association of the United States Army. |
