Daniel Hamburger is responsible for managing the operations of DeVry Inc. and its divisions and implementing the corporation's expansion plans.
Hamburger joined DeVry after serving as chairman and CEO of Indeliq (now owned by Accenture Learning). Hamburger's previous experience includes serving as division president of W.W. Grainger's Internet Commerce group, growing revenues from $10 million to over $100 million in one year.
Before joining Grainger, Hamburger started and ran the Internet Services Group for Chicago-based Metromail (subsequently acquired by Experian) and was responsible for its Internet venture capital investments. He previously served as vice president, marketing and business development, for the Information Services business unit of RR Donnelley and Sons Company. He also served as a consultant with Bain & Company in London, Warsaw and Boston.
Hamburger graduated in 1986 from the University of Michigan with bachelor's and master's degrees in Industrial Engineering. In 1990, he earned a master of business administration degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. |
