Dan is Vice President of Network Operations & Engineering where he is responsible for monitoring and providing first level support to all segments of the network environments. With over 26 years telecom experience, Dan has held several key roles in network transport, expansion and implementation. Prior to joining Globalcom, Inc., Dan was the Regional Engineering Director for FiberTower where he was responsible for the engineering and delivery of hybrid RF/fiber optic cellular backhaul networks. Dan has also held the position of Director of Sales Engineering at KMC Telecom in 2005, where he was the technical Sales liaison for TDM and IP based voice services. From 1997 - 2004, Dan held the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at Focal Communications, where he played a vital role for the overall network architecture, development and optimization. Dan began his telecom career in 1981 with MCI and then Sears Communications Network through 1987. Dan has a MS degree with Distinction from DePaul University as well, a BA degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago. Dan is currently an adjunct faculty member of Robert Morris College, providing instruction in the Business and Information Services curriculum. |
