As Vice President of Enterprise Services and Strategy for IKON Murphy leads the global strategy and services portfolio development for IKON's wide range of document management services - from on-site managed services to customer services and professional services. In this role he ensures that IKON's services offerings reflect market trends and customer needs and he is also responsible for the Company's long-term strategic planning.
Murphy joined IKON in 2002 as Vice President of Services Marketing with responsibility for a variety of key strategic marketing initiatives for the Company including the development of marketing programs for IKON's outsourcing group as well as targeted vertical marketing. He also held successively the positions of Vice President of Investor Relations and Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Communications responsible for the Company's ongoing communications regarding its current performance and long-term strategic direction with analysts shareholders media and employees.
Prior to joining IKON Murphy held several key leadership positions in software and services companies including Vice President of Marketing for Pitney Bowes Management Services; Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Radview Software Incorporated a software and services company; as well as various sales and marketing roles at IBM.
Murphy completed his undergraduate work at Northeastern University and holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
