Mr. Tawfik has a management consulting background with a specific focus in Corporate Finance. Prior to joining Iridium he spent two years at the $11 billion global financial services firm Marsh & McLennan Companies on various management and strategic consulting projects, working directly for the office of the Chief Executive Officer and the Vice Chair. His responsibilities included corporate strategic financial planning and the implementation of a strategic planning and client relationship management program for the firm's 300 top global accounts, across all subsidiaries. Prior to that he was an analyst at The Bank of New York Company in their Corporate Finance group. He has also been employed at various residential and commercial Real Estate brokerages, and has spent time with the Business Council for the United Nations (UNA-USA) as a coordinator for the Financing for Development Initiative, the lead participant and sponsor for the UN's International Conference on Financing for Development. Mr. Tawfik holds a BA in Economics from New York University. |
