As Vice President & General Manager of TANDBERG Television Asia-Pacific, Dario is responsible for TANDBERG Television's business in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Northeast and Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He leads all commercial operations in the region which include the sales, engineering, customer support, marketing, finance and administration teams and is part of TANDBERG Television's global executive management team.Appointed to the position in April 2008, Dario was previously Senior Sales Director, responsible for overseeing the development of TANDBERG Television's sales and business opportunities in SE & NE Asia. Dario joined TANDBERG Television in April 2003, with 13 years experience in sales, marketing and customer support in various industries, including broadcast, telco and ISP. Dario was previously with SkyStream Networks as the Managing Director of Asia-Pacific where he focused his business involvement on CATV, Terrestrial TV, Satellite DTH, TVRO, MPEG over IP, VOD, VoIP, multicast data, CAS/DRM and middleware products. He was responsible for SkyStream's Asia Pacific operations in sales, strategic planning, channel marketing and in formulating alliances with solutions vendors, consulting firms and service providers.Dario has an Electrical Engineering degree from University of Alberta, Canada and is a member of the International Engineering Consortium and the ISP-Satellites Forum. |
