As Vice President, Federal Programs, Darrel Lowery is responsible for the structuring of all bids and proposals, technical sales and program management efforts for all of Enterra Solutions' federal engagements. These include the planning and deployment of Enterprise Resilience Management Solutions for national security infrastructure (including the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, Energy, and Justice, and the Intelligence Community as well as critical infrastructure industries) and other civilian agencies such as NASA and the EPA. An IT leader with over 20 years of program management, engineering, and business development experience, Mr. Lowery has an extensive background in information technology, systems engineering and integration, systems safety, logistics, and training analyses. He comes to Enterra from NCI Information Systems, where he served as Vice President of Civilian Operations, directing new business initiatives and technology solution applications for the NCI Civilian Programs Group on engagements for NASA, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and the Veterans Administration. An authority on enterprise solutions and information assurance, Mr. Lowery serves on The Association for Enterprise Integration's Information Assurance and Security Working Group. The Working Group is creating the standards for secure information sharing on the Department of Defense's Global Information Grid and other essential information systems. Prior to NCI Information Systems, Mr. Lowery served as Director of Operations for Net Commerce Corporation, as Director of the Technology Transfer Group of AmerInd Inc., and as a Senior Logistics Engineer at Newport News Shipbuilding. He was founder and President of Matrix Land Co., a Houston, Texas development firm, and was a Mechanical Engineer at the Naval Underwater Systems Center. |
