Darryl Horne brings strong leadership to Horne International, Inc. As founder of Horne Engineering Services, Inc., Mr. Horne created a company that produced $185 million in revenue in 15 years. He is a licensed professional engineer and has more than 20 years of technical and management experience.
A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute (VMI), Mr. Horne was appointed to the VMI Board of Visitors by Governor Jim Gilmore and reappointed by Governor Mark R. Warner. Mr. Horne is also a Washington Trustee on the Federal City Council, an association of business and professional leaders dedicated to improving the Washington, D.C., area.
He is the recipient of numerous awards, including an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and an Ethics Award from the Society of Financial Services Professionals. Recently, he was recognized as a Top Entrepreneur by US Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine. |
