Daryl J. Carter is the Chief Executive Officer of CharterMac Mortgage Capital and the President of AMAC. Mr. Carter became part of the CharterMac team when his company, Capri Capital ("Capri"), was acquired by CharterMac in 2005. Mr. Carter co-founded Capri in 1992. Prior to Capri, Mr. Carter was Regional Vice President for Westinghouse Credit Corporation, the financial services subsidiary of Westinghouse, where he oversaw the Western U.S. real estate operations. Before that, he was a Second Vice President in the real estate division of Continental Bank in Chicago. Mr. Carter holds dual Masters Degrees in Architecture and Management, both received from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1981. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan in 1977. Mr. Carter is a Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, Chair of the Finance Committee of the National Multifamily Housing Association, and Vice Chairman of the Commercial Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association. Mr. Carter serves on the Dean�s Advisory Council of M.I.T.�s Sloan School of Management. |
