Mr. Kovarik is the General Manager of Sensis Defense & Security Systems Division, where he is responsible for leading the establishment and realization of the division's strategic vision. In this role, Mr. Kovarik is focused on the development and deployment of next generation radar and security products required to predict, sense, adapt, classify, communicate and control the highly complex, integrated and changing military environment. Previously at Sensis, Mr. Kovarik has held the position of Air Defense Systems Strategic Pursuits Manager and Expeditionary Radar Business Segment Manager.Prior to joining Sensis in 2002, Mr. Kovarik worked for 20 years in the design, development and management of complex radar and sonar systems at General Electric, Martin Marietta and most recently Lockheed Martin. Mr. Kovarik holds a BS in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Clarkson University and an MS in Manufacturing Engineering from Syracuse University. He is a graduate of the General Electric Advanced Course in Engineering and received the Lockheed Martin NOVA award, the corporation's highest recognition for achievement. |
