Dave Razzano enters his first season with the Cardinals and his 19th in the NFL after being hired by the team to scout the western region of the country.
Razzano joins the Cardinals after spending the last 14 years with the St. Louis Rams in their scouting department as a college scout. He started his NFL career in the scouting department of the San Francisco 49ers for four seasons (1988-1991).
A 1987 graduate of California State-Hayward with a degree in sociology, Razzano also played college football as a running back for Sierra Community College in Rocklin, CA before transferring to Cal-State Hayward.
Born in Sharon, PA, Razzano got his start for the 49ers under his father, the late Tony Razzano. His father scouted in pro football for over 30 years while Dave has experience in college scouting, pro personnel and NFL Draft coordination over the past 18 years.
Razzano and his wife, Thu, live in Sacramento, CA, with their two sons, Matthew and Jay, and daughter Lily. |
