Born in Wooster, Ohio, Dave has always been mechanically inclined. From working the family farm to auto racing as a young adult and getting his private license in 1981, buying his own plane and maintaining it himself made good sense.
After receiving his Aeronautical degree in 1987, Dave began his aviation career with Continental Airlines in Los Angeles, Denver, and finally Cleveland. He quickly rose through the ranks to Maintenance Supervisor. He started working part-time for Castle Aviation in 1993 and by 1996 became full-time. In 1997, he was promoted to Director of Maintenance.
Dave additionally is a 2000+ hour commercial pilot with a multi-engine rating and is also an aircraft owner.
He lives in Medina with his wife Barb and their three children: Alex, six; Hallie, three; and Kevin, one. His hobbies include auto racing, golf, snow skiing and flying remote control helicopters. |
