David Dietzler a certified public accountant is a retired partner-in-charge of KPMG LLP and managing partner of its Portland office. Dietzler held various senior leadership positions within KPMG one of the "big four" accounting firms in the United States. He served as managing partner of KPMG's Portland office from 1984 until 2004. His regional responsibilities included Pacific Northwest area partner-in-charge of the manufacturing retail and distribution practice from 1995 to 1998 and partner-in-charge of the Pacific Northwest audit practice from 1998 to 2004. His national responsibilities included national director of KPMG's forest products practice from 1993 to 1998 and member of KPMG's U.S. board of directors from 1992 to 1997 and again in 2004.
Dietzler has served as the audit engagement partner for several Pacific Northwest public and private companies. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds both bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of North Dakota. He resides in Lake Oswego Ore.
