David Kluft has a wide-ranging litigation practice in which he represents and advises companies and individuals in commercial litigation, defamation, business torts, intellectual property, employment disputes and government and internal investigations.
In addition, David has successfully represented victims of domestic violence pro bono before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, the Appeals Court, the Superior Court and the District Court.
Before joining Foley Hoag, David had more than ten years of experience as a film maker, television producer, film festival director and non-profit arts administrator. In this capacity he held such positions as: Festival Director and Founder, NextFrame Film and Video Festival (1992-1996); Associate Producer, Philadelphia PBS Affiliate (1996-1997); Program Coordinator, Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema (1997-2000); and Publicist, Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (1999-2000).
