David A. Netjes brings more than 20 years of investment and trading experience to his position as Co-Founding Partner and COO of KKR Financial LLC, KKR Financial Holdings LLC, and KKR Strategic Capital Partners, L.L.C. David serves on the investment committee of KKR Financial LLC, KKR Financial Holdings LLC., and KKR Strategic Capital Partners, L.L.C. and is a board member of KKR Financial LLC, KKR Strategic Capital Institutional Fund, Ltd., and KKR Strategic Capital Overseas Fund, Ltd.
Prior to co-founding KKR Financial LLC, David was an Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo & Company, where he managed the Wells Fargo Treasury Division investment portfolio, the Securities and Investment Division's structured products portfolio, and the franchise real estate group portfolio. He also served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Sutter Advisors LLC and was a member of the Wells Fargo & Company mergers and acquisitions due diligence team. David joined Wells Fargo in March 1997 as a Vice President, and was promoted to Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the firm, a position he held for nearly four years before becoming an Executive Vice President.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo & Company, David was a Director in the Investment Department at Cargill, Inc., an Associate Portfolio Manager at American Express Financial Advisors, Inc., a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co., LLP specializing in mergers and acquisitions and financial institutions, and a staff accountant at KPMG LLP.
David is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. |
