David A. Shipley is an associate at the firm�s Oklahoma City office. His areas of practice encompass corporate and securities, business, commercial real-estate and healthcare law. Mr. Shipley earned his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in May 2007. While in Austin, Shipley served as the associate editor of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas and Energy Law. Mr. Shipley received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2003. Named the 1999 National Hispanic Scholar, Mr. Shipley also earned a number of scholarships and awards, including the Judge Joe J. Fisher Chief Judge Emeritus Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Law (2006-2007) and Academic Excellence Scholarship (1999-2003). He also served as president, fundraising chairman and new-member educator for the Kappa Sigma Fraternity (1999-2003); sat on the Dean�s Advisory Council (2002-2003); and participated in the Chicano/Hispanic Law Students� Association. In addition to his work at the firm of Crowe & Dunlevy, Mr. Shipley has served as a judicial intern for the Fifth District of Texas Court of Appeals and as a law clerk for Slater & Kennon, LLC. |
