Dave Eisenhaure founded SatCon Technology Corporation in 1985 and serves as Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors and, subsequently, turned the Company public in 1992 (Nasdaq: SATC). Mr. Eisenhaure has over 30 years of experience in developing and marketing advanced mechanical and electrical components for power applications. Mr. Eisenhaure has won numerous business development awards and has various patents in electromechanical, power systems, and control areas. Mr. Eisenhaure has also received the Small Business Administration National Tibbetts Award for outstanding contribution in the field of flywheel energy storage and the Discover Magazine Award for Technological Innovation for Automotive and Transportation in 1995, along with Francois Castaing of Chrysler Corporation for technological achievement in hybrid-electric vehicles. Prior to founding the Corporation, Mr. Eisenhaure was associated with the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, from 1974 to 1985, and with its predecessor, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Instrumentation Laboratory, from 1967 to 1974. Mr. Eisenhaure holds S.B., S.M. and an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from M.I.T. Mr. Eisenhaure also serves on the Board of Directors of Implant Sciences Corporation.
