Summary Prior to joining CrossKeys Capital, David C. Burns served as the President of Ryan Taylor & Company since 2002, a provider of investment banking services to the middle market. In that role he has also provided financial, operational and turn around advice to several companies including a maker of lithium battery systems and a provider of voice over the internet telephony services. Mr. Burns is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a BS in accounting and holds an MBA from Vanderbilt University�s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Burns is also a Certified Public Accountant. Work Experience From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Burns served as Managing Partner of Tego Communications, Inc. a provider of in-building telephony services. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Burns served as Managing Director of Mergers and Acquisitions of SBA Communications, Inc a telecom infrastructure firm. From 1990 through 1995, Mr. Burns worked at Goldman Sachs, Inc., a Wall Street based investment bank, where he was involved in transactions in a wide variety of industries and dealt with both public and private companies seeking Wall Street expertise in mergers & acquisitions, capital formation and private placements. Additionally, Mr. Burns has been the founder of three companies, two of which were in the telecommunications industry. In these endeavors, Mr. Burns was instrumental in raising over $15 million in private equity as well as raising senior debt and working capital revolvers. Mr. Burns started his career with Ernst and Young LLP, where he worked on audits of both public and private companies. |
